More about Fenix Natural Grey Copal Incense
Grey Copal, Breu Branco or Breuzinho comes from the trunk of this tree, common in the Amazon – and in states such as Bahia and Minas Gerais, as well as other countries in South America –, a white and shiny sap with an extremely pleasant aroma oozes. This natural resin has been harvested for hundreds of years by native peoples and used in healing rituals, sacred ceremonies, to ward off “opposite energies”.
Breuzinho has the ability to promote more organised thoughts, strengthening the power of concentration, in addition to bringing more balance to emotions.
We can say that Breuzinho is a relief that comes from the forest and that helps to make our days calmer. Incidentally, this is just one of the main functions of this resin, which is even used as a base in several other incenses due to its therapeutic properties.
But we also use it in incense because it has the power to add the raw materials we use, without compromising the aroma of the others, working as a natural glue.
A curiosity: the resin of the tree from which the product we use to make incense is extracted is popularly known as “breus” and hence the word Breuzinho translating from Portuguese as little breu.
